The Collective Health and Education Equity Research (CHEER) collaborative aims to: 1) develop a framework to guide research and advocacy for collective wellness across multi-systems to include schools, community organizations, and health services; 2) build a cadre of scholars from underrepresented groups who engage in equity-oriented research; and 3) implement training and asset building models to improve education and health inequities.

To achieve these aims CHEER faculty and research scholars are dedicated to producing high quality culturally-infused and responsive scholarship.

The CHEER collaborative seeks to (1) build knowledge and collective action plans to enhance wellness and educational opportunities, (2) identify strategies to dismantle structural inequities, and (3) understand ways to build upon collective strengths for underserved populations.
